Nilai University’s School of Aircraft Maintenance and Beyond Horizon Technologies Sdn. Bhd. MoU Signing Ceremony

Drone Industry Insights (Droneii) has forecasted that the global drone market will reach US$54.6 billion by 2030, as detailed in its Global Drone Market Report for 2023-2030. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) autopilot market is currently driven by the Asian market, with a primary focus on applications in mapping and surveying, followed by inspection, photography, and filming.

In pursuit of accelerating the growth of the DroneTech ecosystem, Nilai University has successfully partnered with one of Malaysia’s UAV specialists, Beyond Horizon Technologies Sdn. Bhd, in a recent MoU Signing Ceremony. As part of this collaboration, a launch and demonstration of the newest UAVs also took place, providing students with an opportunity to engage in interactive discourse with the experts from Beyond Horizon Technologies Sdn. Bhd.

This collaboration aligns with the vision of innovating the use of DroneTech in various applications, including high-risk inspections, confined spaces, and aviation. Given the rapid evolution of IR 4.0 technologies, which includes R&D collaboration, training, and internships for our students. This initiative aims to upskill, reskill, and develop the talents of Nilai University graduates to meet the growing demand in the industry, particularly in Malaysia.

The continuous breakthroughs in operations, which minimize risks associated with human involvement and reduce idle time and costs, are reshaping the future of the industry. Nilai University is well-prepared to foster future-proof graduates. Congratulations, once again, to Nilai University’s School of Aircraft Maintenance, and Beyond Horizon Technologies Sdn. Bhd. for this promising collaboration. The future looks brighter than ever!
