Nilai University Celebrates Class of 2025 at 26th Convocation Ceremony

Nilai University proudly celebrated the academic achievements of its graduates at the 26th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, 20 September 2025. Held at the President Hall, the event marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication for the Class of 2025, who were surrounded by the support of family and friends.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Nilai University's Chancellor, YM Professor Emeritus Tengku Dato' Shamsul Bahrin, and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr Azhar Ismail. In his opening address, the Chancellor highlighted the university's dynamic evolution and global orientation, designed to meet the changing demands of the world.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato' Dr Azhar Ismail, in his closing remarks, congratulated the graduates, encouraging them to embark on their future careers with confidence. He reinforced the institution’s core values of excellence, resilience, and service, urging the Class of 2025 to become ambassadors of these principles.

A special moment of the ceremony was marked by the presence of Gleneagles Hospital Deputy CEO, Ms. Sipika Singh, and her team. Their attendance underscored Nilai University's strong industry partnerships and commitment to producing highly employable graduates. The ceremony also celebrated the first cohort of Diploma in Nursing students to graduate under Gleneagles Hospital's sponsorship.

The graduates were further inspired by a heartfelt valedictory speech from Ms. Chong Siew Ying, a First-Class Honours graduate of the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Marketing program. Reflecting on her peers’ resilience, friendships, and personal growth, Ms. Chong encouraged her fellow graduates to carry these valuable lessons into their careers, overcoming challenges and striving for continued success.

Pride and emotion filled the campus as families gathered to celebrate their loved ones' achievements. Graduates shared joyful congratulations with faculty members, while the campus was beautifully adorned with flowers and gifts symbolizing success and appreciation.
