Introduction

Internet and cloud computing technologies are driving a fundamental shift in computing. This technology has the potential to instantly deliver simple, easy-to-use, sophisticated and high- powered computer applications and information that consumers could not otherwise access. This programme aims to provide students with a solid foundation of the concept and the underlying principles of Internet engineering and cloud computing. Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan, design, implement, manage and maintain computer networking of cloud and Internet as well as their security.

Entry Requirements

STPM A pass with a minimum Grade C in any two (2) subjects and a credit in Maths at the SPM level
A-Level A pass with a minimum Grade D in any two (2) subjects and pass in Maths and English at SPM level
UEC 5B’s including Maths
Foundation / Matriculation A pass with a minimum CGPA 2.0 and credit in SPM Maths
Diploma in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Information System A pass with a minimum CGPA 2.5 and credit in SPM Maths
Diploma in Science Technology / Business Studies A pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.5, which include a rigorous internal assessment process and credit in SPM Maths

*International students with qualifications from educational systems where English language is the main medium of instruction are exempted from this requirement.

International students who do not fulfil the English Language Requirements may join the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University which builds their skills in the language and prepares them for the IELTS examination.
