Ts. Laxamanan a/I G. Kurappa has earned his Master of Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bachelor of Science, Electronic and Electrical Engineering with specialisation in aircraft electronics and aviation communications.
Aside from that, Ts. Laxamanan is also an active member involved in the Lembaga Jurutera Malaysia (BEM) Engineering Technologist Accreditation Council (ETAC), Professional Technologist Malaysia (MBOT), Technologist Association Malaysia (TAM), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), Member of Institute of Engineering Technologist (M.I.E.T. UK) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
