Lecturer (Aircraft Maintenance)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic theoretical and practical training for aircraft maintenance engineering students.
  • Develop, design and/or customize courseware based on EASA and CAAM B1 and B2 License Aircraft (Part-66) and MQA requirements.
  • Prepare, conduct and evaluate examination to meet standards set by regulatory authority.
  • Responsible to carry out research, teaching and administration within the scope of the faculty / department.
  • To teach in the areas allocated by the Dean or Head of Department.
  • Contribute to the development, planning and implementation of high quality curriculum.
  • To assist in the development of learning materials, schemes of work as well as monitor students progress, achievement and attendance.
  • To participate in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.

 

Requirements

  • Candidates must hold a PhD or Master's degree in Aviation, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia.
  • At least 5 years(s) of working experience in aviation-related work experience or commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and /or overhaul.
  • A high degree of computer literacy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology.
  • Good hands-on practical knowledge.
