Entry Requirements
Course Minimum Grade
SPM/O-level or equivalent 3 credits
UEC 1B & 4Cs
STPM/ A-level/ Certificates or equivalent Subject to subject exemption for principal passes

Intake Periods

Duration
7 semesters (inclusive of 1 semester of industrial attachment)
Teaching Aids
Dedicated Hospitality training building with the following facilities:
- A 100-seater training restaurant for food service practicals
- 6 training kitchens for Western and Asian cuisine, cold cuts, pastry, bakery and butchery
- A demonstration kitchen with theatre-style seating and an overhead mirror at the training bar, for easy viewing of cooking demonstrations
- A training guest room for housekeeping practicals
- Mock reception counter equipped with the Fidelio system, a sophisticated computer system used by hotels worldwide for checking guests in and out.

professional skill that will launch you into the lucrative and exciting world of food preparation. This internationally recognized diploma equips you with the theory and practice of food preparation, presentation and serving styles. You will also be trained in the areas of inventory control, personnel management, basic accounting and menu planning. Our affiliation with world-renowned hotels provides you with ample industrial attachment opportunities over and aboe the 420 plus hours you will undergo at the college.

Graduates of this programme may choose to proceed the final year of a degree in Culinary Arts with our reputable partner in the United Kingdom.

Curriculum

- Students will undergo 28 training sessions each semester.
- Upon completion of the programme, students will be attached to culinary related
  departments in renowned hotels and other organizations for a duration of at
  least 4-months.
