Introduction

Nilai University’s B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing is approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and the Malaysian Nursing Board (under the Ministry of Health). The programme will equip you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of health, behavioural and nursing sciences as well as focusing on management and leadership skills. Teaching will be conducted through lectures, laboratory classes and hands-on practical sessions at both public and private healthcare institutions. Upon the completion of this programme, you will find yourself well-prepared for a professional career in nursing and management.

Entry Requirements
FOR MALAYSIAN STUDENTS
SPM or equivalent 5Cs (including Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern)) AND (1 General Science / Biology / Chemistry and pass Biology / Physics and pass Biology) AND credit in 2 other subjects AND pass English
AND
either one of the following:
STPM or equivalent Minimum CGPA 2.50
Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma in Science Minimum CGPA 2.50
with
MUET Band 3
IELTS Band 5.5
TOEFL Paper based: 515 / Internet based: 80
 
FOR INTERNATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
SPM or equivalent* 5Cs including Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern), AND (1 General Science / Biology / Chemistry and pass Biology / Physics and pass Biology), AND credit in three 3 other subjects
AND
either one of the following:
STPM or equivalent Minimum CGPA 2.50
Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma in Science Minimum CGPA 2.50
with
IELTS Band 5.5
TOEFL Paper based: 515 / Internet based: 80
Able to converse in Bahasa Melayu

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
All offer are subject to the student being certified by a medical practitioner as fit to be accepted into the programme a month before commencement of the nursing programme and not having any of the following medical/physical conditions: 
  1. EPILEPSY
  2. HEPATITIS B & C
  3. TUBERCULOSIS(TB)
  4. HIV & AIDS
  5. MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS
  6. PHYSICAL or IMPAIRED SENSES THAT HINDERS DIETERITY
  7. OTHER CHRONIC DISEASES
