Information system is a foundation for conducting business today. In order to achieve strategic business goals, the extensive use of information technology is necessary. This dicipline integrates Information Technology solutions and business processes to meet the information needs of businesses and other enterprises. It views technology as an instrument for generating, processing and distributing information. Informations Systems programmes prepare graduates to work with business support applications such as payroll, accounts, receivables and inventory management. Information Systems Specialists are expected to become familiar with computer applications related to these traditional business areas, especially database-management systems and spreadsheets and other off-the-shelf software products.

Entry Requirements
STPM or equivalent 2Cs (NGMP 2.00) AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) Jayyid rank AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent
UEC 5Bs including Mathematics
Foundation / Matriculation Minimum CGPA 2.00 AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent
Diploma in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology / Information System / Science and Technology / related field Minimum CGPA 2.50 AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM. For candidates with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 with credit in Mathematics can be accepted subject to internal evaluation. 
ADTP Minimum CGPA 2.00 including Mathematics
AUSMAT / SAM / SACEI  / HSC Minimum 50% in 5 subjects including Mathematics 
CPU / CIMP Minimum 50% in 6 subjects including Mathematics  
IB UK 24 marks in 6 subjects including Mathematics
