Overview & Introduction

This internationally recognised diploma prepares you for a career in the field of mechanical engineering by equipping you with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide engineering services in the areas of process design, product manufacturing, energy generation, the creation of new materials and many more.

Entry Requirements
Course Minimum Grade
SPM/O-level or equivalent 3 credits including Mathematics and a pass in Science & English
UEC 1B & 4Cs including a C in Mathematics & English
STPM/A-level or equivalent
Subject to subject exemption for principal passes

Conditional offers are given based on forecast results for the January intake

Graduates of this programme are qualified to continue into a degree programme* with our reputable partner universities in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The broad-based modules give you the flexibility to pursue a degree in various other areas of engineering specializations such as aerospace, chemical, civil, and many more. Graduates will be recognised by the respective professional bodies in those countries and be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers and Institute of Engineers Malaysia.

Students who graduate from this programme and go on to complete degrees in various engineering specializations via accredited programmes in the UK or Australia, will be recognised by the respective professional bodies in those countries and be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers and Institute of Engineers, Malaysia.
