Overview & Introduction

This internationally recognized diploma equips you with the knowledge and technical skills for an exciting career in the electrical and electronics industry by employing a problem-based industrial approach to train you to effectively design, build and test electrical and electronic devices.

Entry Requirements
Course Minimum Grade
SPM/O-level or equivalent 3 credits including Mathematics and a pass in Physics & English
UEC
1B & 4Cs including a C in Mathematics & English
STPM/A-level or equivalent subject to subject exemption for principal passes

Conditional offers are given based on forecast results for the January intake

Graduates of this programme are qualified to continue into a degree programme* with our reputable partner universities in Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. The broad based modules gives you the flexibility to pursue a degree in various other areas of engineering specializations such as aerospace, computer systems, electrical and electronic and many more. Graduates will be recognised by the respective professional bodies in those countries and be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers and Institute of Engineers Malaysia.

Electrical and Electronic industrial areas such as electronic parts and components, digital technology, telecommunication, software control systems, lights and wiring, vehicle and aircraft companies, power plants and hardware control systems.

Professional Recognition

Professional bodies
Students who graduate from this programme and go on to complete degrees in various engineering specializations via accredited programmes in the UK or Australia, will be recognised by the respective professional bodies in those countries and be eligible to register with the Board of Engineers and Institute of Engineers, Malaysia.

As part of the syllabus, students will also participate in hands-on training sessions during factory and site visits.
