What sort of careers will graduates be looking to enter?

An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft. Those who have completed the necessary work experience (usually 3-5 years) and gained their European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) licence will be qualified to sign off on airworthiness of aircraft. Employment opportunities will mostly be with airlines and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) centres.

Other employment opportunities may arise from aerospace parts manufacturers and the civil service.
