An Aircraft Maintenance engineer is responsible for maintaining, repairing and inspecting aircraft to make sure that planes meet aviation standards and are fit to fly. The focus will mostly be on preventative maintenance. Hence, students learn to be fastidious and thorough in their work. Students will also need to have good grasp of mathematics and physics as these subjects are of great importance in this field. Students with a creative, but methodical approach to problem solving and good attention to detail, right attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to stay up-to-date with industry developments, are encouraged to apply.
