When he came to Malaysia to pursue his degree, Tu Nhat Vu, or better known as Vu, did not expect that learning English could be memorable and stress-free. His dream of becoming a nurse had moved him to undergo the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Nilai University in 2010, and he was one of the students who enrolled in the Intensive English Programme (IEP) that year.

When asked, if there is one word to describe Nilai University, with a smile, she answered, “Gratifying.” Lee Fei Wen, a semester four student of American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP), conceded that every experience and knowledge she gained so far has not only changed her to a better person, but they truly highlighted her university life.  

In pursuit of his childhood dream, Yuganesh Gunalan enrolled into Nilai University as a freshman in January 2015. To his delight, Nilai University has laid a path for him to obtain a scroll from The United States of America through the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP).

Nilai U in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education organised and hosted yet another successful Future Leaders Camp.

 
Sharifah Halimah Syed Jafar has more than 15 years of teaching experience in the field of language and education. She holds a Master of Science in TESL and a Bachelor of Education in TESL  from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently, she is a Principal Lecturer as well as the Head of Department of Social Sciences and American Degree Transfer Programme at Nilai University.  Sharifah has conducted training for academic staff in the institution.

Nilai U offers Outward Bound course and others to boost student soft skills.

“I had three months free after completing my SPM and my mum didn’t want me to sit around doing nothing, so she enrolled me in the Intensive English Programme at Nilai University (Nilai U),” explains Nur Dalila Asmadi, who hails from Bangi, Selangor.
