In addition, a team of academic counsellors are on hand to help and listen to students and their personal problems. We are very conscious of the fact that a student's emotional well-being is key to his or her academic performance. It is also a time where friendships and relationships develop, opening up a whole new world of empotions and anticipation. Our trained personal development counsellor wil help you through these challenges. Contrary to what people may think, you need not go to a counsellor only when you think you have a problem, the Nilai UC counselling centre is available for you to rest, relax and if you wish, chat with the counsellor.

In the real world of business, few people can or are expected to solve a problem by themselves. The value of multiple inputs in reaching a better solution is widely recognised. But the sharing of ideas, the acceptance of other people’s ideas, and the learning from other approaches is not always a natural process.
Students must be encouraged to actively participate. Statements must be challenged by faculty and other students.
