Application Procedure for International Students

1. Submit your application TWO months before the intake you intend to enrol in.
   
   Please complete and submit the following: -
   
   - A completed Application Form
   - A completed Accommodation Form
   - Certified copies of your Secondary School or
     Secondary Vocational School results;
   - Graduation Certificates (Academic qualification)
   - 3 sets of photocopy of your Passport which is must be valid for a minimum of
     2 years (Personal particulars and all pages)
   - 8 most recent passport-sized photographs
   - A photocopy of your national identification card
   - A bank draft for USD160 for the non-refundable application fee, made payable
     to PK Education Sdn Bhd
   - Please mail the above documents to:
   
     INTERNATIONAL MARKETING,
     Nilai International Universiry College,
     No.1, Persiaran Kolej BBN,
     71800 Putra Nilai,
     N.S.D.K, Malaysia.
    
   
2. Upon receipt of the above, we will process your application. You will receive an Offer Letter from Nilai International in two weeks.
   
   
3. Your student Visa Application and Approval Letter will be subsequently processed. Successful applicants will receive the Approval Letter in six to eight weeks *.
   
   * If you are in the process of obtaining a passport, please note that the college can only proceed to this step after receiving your 3 sets of passport photocopies. Therefore, it might take longer than 6 weeks.
   
   
4. With the approval letter, you may endorse a Single Entry Visa** onto your passport at the Malaysian Embassy/Consulate*** in your country. Please bring along your Offer Letter, the Approval Letter and your passport when you do your visa endorsement. When this is done, you're all set to fly!
   
   ** Single Entry Visa (applicable only for Republic of China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cuba, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, North Korea, Nepal, Nigeria, Guinea Equatorial, Myanmar, Taiwan and Vietnam.)
   
   ***All international students should enquire at the nearest Malaysia Diplomatic Mission/Embassy/Consulate at your country for the latest entry procedures and requirements.
   
   
5. You must then inform Nilai International University College's International Office of your flight details FIVE working days before your date of departure. Representatives from Nilai International University College will greet you at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
   Note: Students will only be allowed entry in to Malaysia in the presense of a Nilai International University College representative.
   
   
6. Send your flight details to our International Office's staff via emails bengchu@nilai.edu.my / shchin@nilai.edu.my / slchia@nilai.edu.my, or fax to the number 00 - 606 - 8501766 (Attention to Ms. Lee).
   
   
7. Please note that you will need to surrender your passport to the International Office upon arrival. Our International Office will assist you in applying to the Malaysian State Immigration for your Multiple Entry Visa and Student Pass.
   
   
8. The following are the intakes dates. Please note that if you arrive a week after the intake dates, you will be required to register in the following intake.
